“DIRAWONG GONDWANA DREAMING”

Dirawong is the Bundjalung
goanna dream-time ancestor, and her home is Evans Head NSW. She is daughter of Wollumbin (Mt. Warning), the
ancient volcano, and grand-daughter of Gondwana, the ancient super-continent. She
gathers lunar magic as a bolt of star-lightning discharges from the head of Burndilla
(comet)
to Wollumbin’s summit. In the centre of Warrambool or the Milky Way, the Hunab
Ku
radiates her life-giving emanations from her home between Sagittarius and
Scorpio, as sky-wanderers Mars, Jupiter and Saturn dance around her.
From a high tableland a Bundjalung medicine man is
‘beholding country’ by day and by night, honouring the wisdom of the ancestors
and contemplating the laws of nature and cosmos, accompanied by his allies the
thylacine and rainbow dinosaur bird, feeling the warmth of the sun as she
bathes her family of life on the land and in the ocean below her.
Myriad forms of sea-life bask in
the crystal waters…sea turtles, octopus, star-fish, urchins, and rainbow
cetaceans…Aihe the dolphin and Paikea-aniwaniwa the star-whales, one
of whom is diving and whose tail flukes are receiving transmissions from the
heart of the galaxy regenerating the health of life on Mother Earth.
Frogs, dragonflies, geckos, and
families of marsupials…wombats, koalas, echidnas, platypus, wallabies and
kangaroos frolic on the red Earth and in the lush eternally green bush. White
and black cockatoos course the skies keeping their cumulus friends company, as
lovely pandanus palms and grass trees provide shade and homes for their family
of life, most of whom are invisible.
Grandmother Dirawong has donned her most
beautiful garment, her sacred Rainbow Robe in honour of the sacred moment in
time we call ‘now.’ She is honouring Wollumbin as one of the chakras in the body
of the Rainbow Serpent, and is singing her song-lines of joy, harmony, and
striving to maintain the highest laws of Baiame the star-maker, all-seeing Sky
Father and guardian of all life.
